id64, it looks great! Do you have any pictures with only the liner on, without the hand guard? It looks like you had to cut the rear top of the liner to make it fit closer to the barrel. I couldn't bring myself to do so, because I wanted to be able to use the rear mounting slots. However, yours looks so good that I might end up doing it.

Great, that's what I thought. Thanks for the picture. If you have any with the liner on and hand guard off, please let us see, if it's not too much trouble.
Is that J B Weld I see under the barrel clamp? I should have thought about it also, instead of putting in all the time it took me to cut the aluminum pieces I used for spacers. It was time consuming and they are not exactly the same length in the end.
I ended up deciding I wanted to modify the hand guard instead of the rifle, so I moded the crap out of it. However, I was able to install it without any modifications to the rifle, so I am happy with that. Now, I only need to decide if I want to keep the rear mounting slots or not. I might end up getting rid of them, 'cause your install looks much nicer than mine. Plus, it leaves much more space for the magazine changes, which are a little restricted on mine. Thanks.
is that the full length handguard? anyone have experience with the mid size hand guard? is it solid to hold onto since it extends so far?
.
anyone fitted the zhukov stock yet?

Bump! Anyone have any pics of the actual filing points on the rifle?
