We thought we would take a look at the Barrett M98B Fieldcraft.
This is a new variant of the M98B introduced by Barrett this year.
They use a 10 round box mag and the stock is adjustable but not folding.
The barrel is threaded for addition of a muzzle brake or flash hider or wiener roasting stick, whatever you want to screw onto it.
It is available in a variety of calibers and colours.
Barrel is a slightly lighter profile than the regular M98B.
These rifles are definitely light enough in weight to be used as a hunting firearm.
I've been fortunate enough to be able to put a decent amount of rounds through the 7mm rem mag version and can only say
good things about it. The recoil is very light and the accuracy is in the realm of being better than most people who will climb behind the trigger.
Price on these rifles is $5305.00 plus shipping and tax.
