A Grumpy Style Red Dot Comparison

It was a rainy day and we couldn't shoot anything up at the range so thought I would do a
quick and dirty red dot style optic comparison.

I suggested using a hammer and blow torch but they said not this time ....geez never get to have any fun.

This is just a simple run down, with my personal thoughts and preferences.

Thanks Grumpy, nice video! Why is the Eotech MRDS not in the demo? I bought one recently from you guys and I am really happy and impress by it's ease of use and accuracy. I got it mount on my SA M1A, I might use it as well on my SBE II for turkey hunting. Anyway thanks for all the energy you are putting in those vids and reviews.

    Good stuff.
You know you are a real gunnut when you start practicing trigger control on power tools.

LOL....well do you want the truth or will I lie to you so I don't look as stunned? I forgot about the MRDS until after the video was done and processed. However, this is a good excuse to do another video on the red dot sights.

Are you sure about the unlimited eye relief on the prismatic? I have a leupold prismatic and the eye relief is around 3 inches, not sure how vortex gets around that?
Another thing that would have been worth mentioning when talking about how Vortex stands behind their products is the fact that the life time warranty is fully transferable without paperwork and covers electronic red dots. There is no other company with lifetime replacement on electronics.
Also prices would be worth mentioning.

So the Meprolight M21 doesn't use bastards? Interesting. I hate having to carry spare bastards to the range with me. :P
