    Nicest Walnut Ever on a Cooper:

    Just got this one in. Worth checking out if you are a fan of nice walnut. A blank we imported from New Zealand:

    Indeed, and, while the pics are good, in person, its even better. I think its my favorite I've ever had in the shop.

    That's a gorgeous stock - seeing walnut likes that reminds me why I'm not the biggest fan of synthetics.

    me too, however. they have there place and for a rifle likre this a guy could but a syn on when going is rough.

    I saw a story about an enormous stump some entrepid Kiwis were excavating with front end loaders and back hoes. It was easily 10' across. The story was in a woodworking magazine, and that stump was something special that the owner figured (bad pun) would eventually be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. It was just magnificent.
