    Outlaw Shotgun Disassembly

Recently received my Canada Day special Outlaw. Quick 'n easy; thanks CanAm. Two quick questions:

    1. Does there exist a complete disassembly guide? Would like to remove the stock from the action to do a little bit of work and would like to avoid the surprise of springs shootin' out of existence.

    2. Is it fairly normal for Dominion Arms/Norinco to have the slot-headed screws torn up? Most curious; I don't have high-expectations for $200 firearm, but this did catch me by surprise. If not for the packing and the Outlaw being soaked in the factory grease/oil, I might have thought it was previously owned.

Regardless, this does look fun. As always, can't wait to get to the range.

not too difficult...can find disassembly vid on youtube under jw 2000 (still wonder where the mystery washer goes?)
needs all screws tightened (careful not to tighten safety screw too much)
took mine apart (& put back together) 3 times too get it just right...
if you don't like to tinker may not be the gun for you...
i now love it (much, much better than the backpacker)
