SKS - Canadian Laws - for a modified SKS / stock change

Just going to throw this out there, I have an SKS and its in an intrafuse stock. My question is this, does this violate any current Canadian laws? I can seem to find the answer online, maybe I just didnt find what I was looking for.

Also from what I can gather you cannot modify the Tapco 5/10 round mag, but can you remove the bottom plate for cleaning? or would that be considered an illegal act. By that I mean doing the whole " drill a hole in the bottom plate" thing. Mine is pinned with the rivet so I am assuming that if the rivet gets removed that would be a no no.

Sorry if this is an over discussed topic, but I do look forward to any insight you can offer.http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/images/smilies/new/weirdThread.gif

    The stock is OK.
If you need to remove the rivet for cleaning, replace it when you are done.

My 5/30 is not a Tapco so I have to ask why you need to drill a hole in the bottom plate.
Does it also have a rivet .
AS for the "5" limiting rivet, I would not want it to fall out unless you have a replacement on hand.
Yes I know I need to get a spell csech
I love this land, but my country has fallen.
