While i know it's been nearly 2 years since anyone has looked at this thread i'm wondering if tactical imports would ever entertain the idea of bringing these SMGs in again? I know FAMAE's Chilean facility is ridiculously expensive however based on stupid Canadian gun laws, this is the closest we will come for the time being to possessing an SMG of sorts.
If they would bring in the FAMAE SAF mini-200, OR FAMAE-SAF 200 with:
1) a non-restricted (NR) barrel at 18.5" to buy as non-restricted.
2) have the ability without any further gun-smithing or threading, to replace the NR barrel with an R barrel
3) provide the restricted barrel as an "option"...which usually TacticalImports request you show you have an Rpal which is fine.
I am game for this purchase. My fear is this will run into the $4,000.00 range which in all honesty makes me swallow my own balls but this is very hard to come by. I'd hope a Zeiss red-dot finder
could be thrown in for free but while Tac-Imports is having a good laugh at this comment, chances are it won't happen (i mean the free red-dot finder).
I am also a BRS-99 owner which is a fabulous little toy with either the NR or R barrel i bought through tacticalimports.ca - amazingly fast shipping and i live in the sub-arctic circle.
The tac-import staff are great to chat with.
I wish they would bring in some mags for my SAF
I thought TI was suppose to get their shipment from Chile a few weeks ago!?!??

Have a 9mm (listed in ee) and a .40 SAF. Would love a 9mm mini SAF though. Barely missed the boat on one earlier in the year.
Just a dude up in Canada that likes guns

We finally got the accesories and parts. It did take a long time but TI did deliver. I agree that the mags are an issue but their are many alternate solutions that cure this issue out there if you have a bit of patience and like to thinker...
