The Aero is a pretty well made take down, they are working on kits but from what I have seen so far in Canada the conversions are very expensive.
I emailed them a while back and they said the 10mm trials were going well.

Ive had my sub 2k gen 1 in 9mm for about a year and I love it! Love the light weight and fast deploy! Just ordered the JRC Marine takedown in 45 ACP yesterday and cant wait to get it in! Probably would have gone with a second Sub 2k if they offered it in 45 ACP, but had to go with JRC for that option...

Ive never shot the Keltec, but I do have both the TNW Aero and a JR Carbine takedown in 9mm.

To be fair, I only have approx 4-500 rounds of various ammo out of each, 2 FTF from the Aero but I think that was mag related ( KCI Crap mag) and zero failures of any kind from the JR.

Ease of takedown and cleaning goes to the aero by a mile. Seriously JR? 2 different sized allen screws and a bloody AR wrench, what a PITA!
Aero is pretty simple, two push pins, remove the charging handle and the bbl and your done.

Fit and Finish, both are really well made so thats a tie.

    Weight
JR is a tank compared to the aero, for a backpacker Id say the advantage goes to the aero.

    Accuracy
JR has the edge here but not by a huge margin.
For a takedown, Im very surprised that both seem to hold zero extremely well.

I really like them both and would be hard pressed to pick just one if I had to.

So, only one thing to do really, buy one of each

    ^^^ nice...thanks for the input...

I am interested in the aero, for the option of 22 wmr...and 10mm ...awesome. But I will never get rid of my jr...its been very accurate and reliable.

having said that...i'll never buy another kel tec......if mine didn't have a plastic receiver...it would have survived the blow out.

Plastic receiver housing...combined with the nerf gun quality sights .......it wouldn't be bad if it was a cheap gun to buy...but for what they charge for a plastic gun is imho....far too much for what you get....spend a few bucks more and get metal carbine..

I do like the Aero better than (Gen 1) Sub2K, haven't tried Gen 2 yet. My buddy is in love with his JR Carbine, so much so that I haven't had it in my hands yet to compare. He shot my Aero though, and he looked pretty thoughtful. Wouldn't say anything.

Holosun red dot on a 2/3 "co-witness" riser gives pretty decent results on the Aero. I did try some spare Tavor iron sights on it, which were good too, especially when combined with the red dot.

There are a few other scopes that I'll try, but you feel pretty foolish putting on a scope that's worth more than the rifle...

Trigger pull is a bit long and tough but breaks cleanly on my gun. If you want it to jam open on empty, use a Glock 23 mag on the 9mm rifle. I found that out by accident, I had mixed one in and didn't read. I'm not sure how long the follower will hold up, but I couldn't see any obvious damage after trying it a few more times to see that it wasn't a fluke of some kind.

I love that the Aero will take Glock 26, 19, 17 or what have you. Even Glock 23 (and so probably 22, 27...) mags fed it reliably. The cheap KCI Glock 19 mag that came with mine has been flawless, but the OEM Glock mags do look and feel better.

I'm only a few hundred rounds in, but so far, so good. +1 for the Aero.

I love my Aero for simply plinking. I also added a FAB T-Pod Tactical for fun and ease of shooting.
