    Website claims these are 3/4" thick. Am I correct to assume this is a typo and they are actually 3/8" plates?

    I have a 24x24 inch 1/2 AR500 plate that we shoot with 338 LM at 750-1000 meters and the bullet just splashes on it. Fun stuff.

    Based on the max .308 we can assume 3/8"

    I question the need for 3/4 thickness.
    IMO, if you shoot too close, you will dimple it and ruin it anyway.
