Aside from WSS "super grade", are any not painted over?

I have only seen BBQ painted units for the past year - I would not pay even $150 all-in for these.

The ones I've seen at CDN Tire's out here (Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, Brooks) are all around the $200-$220 mark depending on laminate or hardwood. Condition isn't bad and there are the painted ones but what bothers me is none of them seem to have any kind of matching numbers. Same goes for their Mosins. It's all arsenal mish-mash "junk".

How come you guys over in Ontario get all the good deals? In Alberta and BC it is at least $200 and sometimes $220 for an SKS, $350 for an SVT40.
Is there some sort of advantage? Are the rifles being brought in by ship container to Hamilton and then distributed to the rest of Canada?

I sure hope this thread is not being made because your considering bring in BBQ painted SKS's due to lack of inventory.... Because I would not pay even 150 for a non blued SKS, and im sure thre are many that feel the same.

I agree. I am not going to buy any more BBQ painted SKS. It's blued or nothing. By the way, that is a very interesting 1950 Tula you
showed us earlier on this thread, I hope you don't mind me starting a thread about it on the Red Rifles forum.
