    Applying from Toronto, Ontario

    CFSC course completed: Sept 26
    CRFSC course completed: Sept 27
Test results sent in to CFO: Sept 28
CFSC & CRFSC Certificates processed by CFO - ONT: Oct 13
CFSC & CRFSC Certificates received from CFO - ONT: Oct 19 (5pm)
Application for PAL/RPAL Xpresspost from Toronto: Oct 19 (6pm)

On Thursday October 22nd my Bank called me to inform me that my VISA card has been compromised and that they will issue me a new card with a new number.
How badly does this screw up my RPAL application with my old visa number?

    Any ideas or suggestion?

    Thank you,

    Roger

I'd call the CFC and advise them of the issue. They should be able to take your card info over the phone. If you don't call them they will eventually send you a letter I imagine.

I wouldn't get excited about the 45 day waiting period. I've been waiting 5 months already and still no sign. I phoned in and they said there is no defined waiting period and was told to phone again in a month. I don't want to anger them either, seems like the only employee 50 year lades going through menopause.

You're dealing with the government remember, the only time they have defined deadlines is when you owe them money.

I could go buy a pair of dress pants ,a shirt then throw it in a chair and expect more work to be done.

    Applying from Saskatchewan:

Mailed my RPAL application on September 3/15
Credit Card was cashed on October 5/15
RPAL card arrived in the mail on October 19 (election day)

I thought that was amazingly fast service. None of my references were called.

That's sickening. My PAL was received on May/20/2015 and I got it today November/25/2015. 6 months and 5 days waiting period.
