Beautiful setup. The extended rail really looks high tech on that rifle. Have you shot any 7.62x51mm out of? I'm interested in see the results of long distance shots.

    Totally disagree with you there.

I thought so too, until I tried one, liked it and bought another. When I first looked at it, it seemed like there was no "cheek rest" however once you shoulder it on the rifle it works very well. It's a "minimalist" type stock for me and I like that, if you wanted more "meat" go with the LMT. Just my $.02 that's all YMMV.

What's neat about this stock is the cheek piece does not retract/extend with the stock.

That hand guard looks really cool. That being said, the rails are on the half closest to the receiver? Most are smooth there these days and have the rails out near the barrel end instead. Mounting bipods etc would be better further out. Again love the look but have to question it's practicality.

It's mostly for sight radius and/or NV attachment. Nothing else really needs to go that far out, even bipods.

I'll trade my slimline stock for a LMT anyday. For a $4000 rifle, I expected something better IMO. Even a Magpul CTR would be an upgrade. I don't get sucked into the HK coolaid. Don't get me wrong though, my MR223a3 is a heck of a rifle but the stock is a huge dissapointement
