Like I said it's a "weird" color as it's looks very different in pictures under various degree of light, when you have it in hand, it's that German greenish/brown, and looks great? Also when it's applied as an "anodized" finish it looks different as well.

how long does this last? One of the reasons I like polymer pistols is that you can't really mess it up. if you ding it or scratch it, its still the same colour. does this colour wear off? or is it impregnated into the polymer? I know the slide is going to wear, just like bluing or Melonite or whatever.

The matching baseplates are a nice touch. Disappointed to see the factory ral8000 spf9s don't come with them
