Quick question... is it legal to order ammo online within canada? I read somewhere that ammunition is classified as an explosive ordinance and therefore is illegal to ship. Is this true? I ask because I have found cheaper ammo online than what my local shop sells it for.
You can ship ammo but NOT thru Canada post

Check out comes and grand total.
Await confirmation email with tracking number and away you go.
If that doesn't work for you and your still worried called your vendor of choice and ask them how they propose to ship it to you.

For buying ammo, it's almost always going to be easier to buy from a company (preferably one with free shipping, as they will take care of all that mess), or buying local. If I sell ammo, it's local.
