    Is this normal?

So I purchased a kimber 1911 custom 2 TLE in 45acp from an online vendor. Just got the gun today and it's a plane ol kimber custom 2..... not quite sure what to do now. Waiting for the vendor to call me back. So far my first restricted purchase isn't going how I expected.

They should be able to reverse it and refund but you'll likely be out the shipping.
I got burned by a vendor on here last year.
Ordered and paid for a norinco 870 shotgun. Assured it was an 870.
Arrives and its the 780 p.o.s.
So they refund the shotgun but i ate the postage both ways, which is b...sh..

Most of the vendors on here are very good and will do what ever they can to fix the issue. No need to panic yet.

Either you return the gun and get the correct one or they send you a cheque for the difference.
If you were dealing with Wanstalls, they will make things right. Even good people make mistakes sometimes.

You should not have to pay any more shipping - it wasn't your mistake it was the dealers.
They should pay to have it shipped back to them and they should pay to ship you a new one.
You already paid to have the proper gun shipped to you which they didn't do
Call them and see what shakes out

Update: manager at the store was very helpful and offered to swap out the custom2 for a tle/rl they had. But the condition wasnt quite as nice as the custom 2 i was mistakenly sent. so I decided to keep the custom 2 instead of swapping it out and was given a wicked deal on a Alfa Progect .357 magnum and a box of ammo for the misshap. I am very satisfied.
