    DA556 14.5" Twist Rate?

Just wanted to confirm the twist rate on the DA556 14.5". Is it 1:9? I see the 20" has an option for the twist rates. Searched real quick and didn't see anything definitive. Here's the link to the product:

Also, I thought these used to come with quad rails from the factory? Or am I nuts...

Mine came Jan 2014 with 1:9 rate and does have the quad rail.
14.5 in barrel and shoots great.
Pretty impressed with it so far, 850 rds thru and not one issue.
Only thing is the delta ring loosens right up after 150 rds.

What's the diff? I was under the impression that Norcs and DA are one and the same under another name. Different furniture perhaps, but the same breed underneath.

    Thanks,
    Cal.

The PREVIOUS release of the DA556 that came with a quad rail and had the gov't profile barrel with the grenade launcher cut in it had a 1:7 twist. The current DA556 has 1:9 I believe....

Also, I am pretty sure these Chinese ARs all come from the same factory. Norinco is just a brand, and Dominion Arms is how these ARs are custom made and branded for CanAm. As far as I know.

all the same units with different markings on them for buyers of large quantities like CanAm,,,they may be regarded as cheapchinese stuff,,but they work,,and the quality seems very good,,there's tons of them out there,,
