I reached out to the Holosun company in regard to these sights, this was the response I received
"Thank you for contacting us.
These models were first shown at SHOT 2015 as pre-production prototypes. These have been referred to as open frame or heads up display (HUD) The expectation at that time was a release date some time in 2015. Due to the success of the product line as a whole, the factory and its R&D group of been fully utilized with micro form factor models.
The HUD models will again be shown at SHOT Show 2016. I am hoping for a release date in mid 2016.
At that time we will make a decision if there is a market demand for them in Canada.

Maybe if we can get enough people to show interest, they can get this model going. I was interested in it as well, it has an integrated laser and it is solar.

Check out this page. Holosun US site. It has 2 models. First one just red dot/circle red dot. Second one is Red dot/circle red dot and Green Laser and IR capabilities. Would love to get the first one. After speaking to Holsun, they confirmed that both models will be coming to canada soon. Hoping to hear some good news from CANAM soon.
