I just got a PM from someone at Calgary Shooting Center saying the barrel kits There are priced at $475. At that price point I'll pass.
A much better angle would have been to bring in 14" barrel kits for Mossberg 500s! (Even though they don't exist)
The kit would be less money likely, to be put on a gun that could be bought much cheaper.

At that price, there a many,many better options. No thanks
A custom order of barrels made at the minimum length to fit flush with a basic 500 would be a much more economical option. You'd end up somwhere around 15" in barrel length. I think that would suit most people.
Whole guns were 600 a few months back

In case anybody is wondering;
These kits DO fit Mossberg 500 and Maverick 88 receivers, as well as the 590 and 590A1.
The magazine tube on any of the Mossberg pump shotguns simply unscrews from the receiver.
Was interested when I found this thread. "Was"being the operative word. A scattergun tech wilson combat could be had for the kind of money.
