    It comes down to personal preference. I like the right side mag release. You can twist your wrist to drop the mag. I would prefer one behind the magwell where it can't be bumped but I have yet to see one.

    (1) Due to our gun laws, we have this preference to using 10 rounders AR mags, which is straight insert and not tilt-in. Never mind the mag release, the redesigned mag well seems to be a problem.
    (2) Most North American shooters are programmed to be AR shooters, anything that does not operate the same way as an AR is not preferred. Hence we have a dogma about keeping strong hand on grip while reloading.
    Right on the money, unfortunately the mag release they used isnt very user friendly, hence this upgrade....

    I'm really interested in a rail system. Not interested in certain $400 upgrades but something that I could mount a light on or a qd point would be great
