the MK23 never came with night sights. I know there were a few third-party companies that offered the ability to put them on however.

Back in the day, the MK23 came with the super doper Wilcox laser/IR module. Since it was the "offensive" handgun, I would imagine it is envisioned to be used with NVG. Tritium sight will light up like 3 xmas trees under NV and become confusing with the laser pointer on.

I guess that makes sense when your using NVGs you wouldn't need nights sights.
