North Sylva pays shipping back to you. you have to pay to get it to them unfortunately. I used UPS it was $50.
And they didn't even find the problem on mine...

From what I've seen of the turn around times, and often times the problem. It even being found, your better off getting the parts and fixing it yourself/getting a smith to do it.

What's wrong with it?theres lots of knowledge here regarding the VZ/CZ platform.
It's not that I'm new to this....I'm just an idiot...

Send the bill to CSA and quit complaining.
"There's a big ... machine in the sky, ... some kind of electric snake ... coming straight at us."
    "Shoot it," said my attorney.
"Not yet," I said. "I want to study its habits.

Happened to me also. Incompetent gunsmith. Now I just avoid their products entirely.

What's the warranty on these things anyways?
Bought mine a couple months ago and haven't had a chance to fire it yet.

For us GTA people, can't we just bring it in in-person for warranty work?

From what I found NS just keeps it for a while then sends it back. I sent in a pistol cleaned and arranged in such a way and got it back unopened and told they fixed the problem. Nope you didn't even look at it!
Thanks NS. Will never buy a product they warranty.

VZ 58 rifles have a 5 year warranty from date of purchase.

I live outside Toronto, so hand delivered the rifle.
Was told 3 to 4 weeks to fix.
Had it back fixed, shipping paid, 3 days later.
    It really was fixed.
Couldn't possibly have had better service from North Silva.

That sums it up nicely. Mine was with them for about three months. No repair, not even test fired.cuz otherwise how can they miss the oblivious defect.
