Milling a 1911 slide for red dot

Like any firearm enthusiast, I get a lot of enjoyment from modifying my firearms to a point of satisfaction where I feel it would be complete as one I would want in a " end all situation", or some call " go to war" gun (hypothetical). Having said that, I have always been one to plan a build months in advance. I'm curious if you are able to perform the machine work of milling down the slide, and tapping for a flush mounted red dot, what you would need, and any other services you offer for the 1911 platform, such as trigger jobs, etc...This is a beginning stages for a build plan. Thanks

Impressive glock work, but not a lot on 1911's. And was hoping for someone in Ontario.
