For those that already have one, how do you carry this around when on foot? Walking, hiking, hunting, etc?

It has probably been discussed previously, but it may meet the description of a prohibited weapon. In this case the baton looks like it may not be included because of its overall length. However, the context in which it is carried may be a concern so you should donfurther search of section 88 of the criminal code. Does anybody have any other info on this?

    5. Any device that is designed to be capable of injuring, immobilizing or incapacitating a person or an animal by discharging an electrical charge produced by means of the amplification or accumulation of the electrical current generated by a battery, where the device is designed or altered so that the electrical charge may be discharged when the device is of a length of less than 480 mm, and any similar device.

Anybody in possession of anything weapon like should be familiar with this:

The guy that asked the question cares, obviously. (Winchester1852). He wanted to know if he could get in trouble for having this on him, which is a reasonable inquiry. The short answer is that I don't know of anybody getting jammed on this specifically but there is a ton of case law out there where somebody was charged with possession of a weapon and the outcome all depends on the purpose of the possession ( self defence has been decided to be a legitimate reason, where as to intimidate a person is not).

I have answered your question as to "who cares?", so perhaps you could kindly answer why was it necessary to quote my post and leave such an abrasive comment?

Is that thing of any use for something? Is it legal to stun grouse in the backwoods - or what? Just advertising something like this would make a person look greasy...
