Of course it's not exactly the same.
But it shoots the same caliber at the same average accuracy and effective range. Mag is pinned to 5 rounds regardless.
Roughly the same length, roughly the same weight, same sights almost exactly.
Just another com bloc bullet hose in 7.62mm M43
In this country under our sad laws it might as well be man except an SKS costs $200 and a vz58 costs $1K for the NR's I've seen on the EE.
But it's got a pistol grip and the pinned mag comes off!
Guns only have two natural enemies; politicians and rust.

And an AR is an acr is an xcr is a scar is a r/a m96 is a mini 14 and on and on....

If shooting the same round and being from the same geographical area makes one gun just like another then sure...

A vz is an ak is a type 81 is an sks.

But I think anyone would realize that is just ridiculous and extremely simple.

Order in council, for when politicians want to order people instead of being ordered by the people.

Should police follow the law or should law follow the police?

Does anyone even bother to research on a subject these days? don't just believe the next guy, me included, look it up if you are interested in the rifle, walk away if you don't, please don't spread the wrong info.
however I do agree with Travis this gun should not be more than 1k.

OK. Looks like some Chinese guy bubbaed SKS into AK-look-alike, well, I still want to shoot one.

No you are not, it's quite obvious, the similarity... and differences.
I really don't know where the SKS reference is coming from, maybe somehow the type 81 shares a similar silhouette to that of a bubbaed SKS?
is it because the bolt handle looks like it's from a SKS? who knows.
it's like saying an AK47 is a bubbaed STG44, which is ridiculous...but hey I have heard worse in this hobby.

Unless you are using the shape of the bolt handle?
