Hi All,
May be you are asking yourself, why there is no ammo available ?
Hum, remember my signature in this thread ?
I am an engineer...
So my colleague, did a MAJOR mistake, he asked me to tighten up the screw in the back of the press just a little to have the primer tube vertical or to add a rubber damper.
Hey, do not forget I got my degree from MIT. So I picked up a Hex key and did it, but I was feeling some resistance from the hidden bolt, the second one was perfect.
So believe it or not I used a wrench and it was tight.
Here are a summary of the damages:
- bolt has no filet;
- main frame broken;
- no more filet inside the press frame.
In conclusion, everything will be online by the end of the week. I got a special invitation from the USA manufacturer to visit their plant, have a meeting with the Design Department and a major meeting with the manufacturing department. Only have to pay the travel. Everything pay by them. I have to show them what I did.
My colleague has 30 years of experience with industrial ammunition loading machine and he has put stickers in the reloading area : THIS AREA IS FORBIDDEN TO CLAUDE M.P.
Nobody understand me. snif.
Good Shooting and ALWAYS BE CAREFUL
