Wasp .223 compared to American Eagle.

Last week I was picking up my order and decided to try the WASP for a change. The rifle is a Ruger 583 series Mini 14 with a few mods, iron sights, sitting supported position. Both bullets were 55 grain FMJ.
After a quick warm up use american eagle, I alternated mags of WASP and American Eagle, shooting at targets at 50, 75 and 100 yards. I was walking up and looking after each mag to note where the last group was, the rifle was laid on an insulated shooting pad each time. All groups were consistent between the 2 brands with the only fliers were the ones that I called when shooting.

Comparing the groups and the position of the groups and the price difference, my future plinking .223 is going to be Wasp. The cost savings alone ($.20 per bullet) makes them worthy of purchase.
No pictures as I was lazy and my phone was dead.

I recently picked up some Wasp to run through my ACR w/ 18.6" barrel and the Wasp went through flawless I will definitely be buying some bulk packages of this stuff. Used a couple other brands and had the odd fail to feed but she ate every last Wasp round w/o a hiccup!

I havn't had to buy .223 since I bought a large amount of Norinco yellow box - Man, even at Wasp prices it sure isn't cheap to run .223! They look like the best buy though currently, i'll have to try them out.

I only know of 2 places to get their stuff, from them and from Ammo Supply in Calgary. I get mine from ammo supply, no shipping, just order and then pick it up.

2nd that. The WASP .223 has worked very well for me. I intend on using it for all my CQB and 3Gun shoots this year.
