Anyone know whether or not the XCR-L heavy barrel is .750 in diameter?

BTW, the GSG 1911 Tactical version ships with a fake suppressor. Presumably this was reviewed by the RCMP.

Perhaps a thread adapter is possible? I don't know the VZ 58 thread size.
    I was able to get a thread adapter for 1/2" - 20 UNF to 1/2" - 28 UNF.

I don't think the authorities would like to see this on a rifle. can you imagine the question or reaction from a picky or bad day police
but they look cool though, I know here in the quebec cops would arrest you first then ask question much much latter
I dont have at one the moment

If the majority of it is under a shroud (in the case of an AR perhaps) than it would look just like a variety of blast diffusers..

Guys, this is a BARREL COVER. It does not protrude out the end of the barrel. There is no way this could make your gun quieter because the expelled gasses are not affected in any way. Adding this to your gun would have no different an effect than adding a long hand guard over a short barrel. If you believe your local authorities would have issues seeing this, what do you think they would do with something like a Noveske PIG sticking out of a long hand guard on an AR? Not only does it LOOK like a supressor is under the hand guard, but it actually DOES effect the gases coming from the gun. Yet they are completely acceptable.

This is a cosmetic upgrade only. Stop fear mongering just for the sake of making a point.

FWIW, the .223 VZ58 uses a totally different thread than an AR... it uses the same thread as the 7.62X39 version. Which is NOT a standard thread from a typical .308 rifle. These would not work. Also, you'd have to remove your front sight. Which isnt a 5 minute job.
