The magazine follower has legs, trim them.

100% correct. Dont trim too much though 10.5 rounds

Agree they do this to insert a full tapco mag also those xcr mags are always tight everyone I ever had would only load nine rounds reliably. I eventually just gave up and sold the sks in fact hi call borrowed pics of my bolt that's my bolt on the first page. I can tell because it's on a plastic staples table and the mag conversion they have pictures with it is different. What a night mare I'm just glad I don't have one anymore.
