Most of the staff is older and probably the only one authorized to do credit card refunds is Travis the owner, with shot show and a young family I would guess he hasn't been around the shop much/
I have never bought anything off them over the internet or telephone only as a walk in, easily best gun shop for walk in customers

Make a charge complaint on your credit card get all your money back then send them a cheque for what it was suppose to be....done
Yes get your credit card company involved. It takes a bit of work to jump through the hoops, but you will be the one smiling in the end. Then never deal with them again.

Tell them this was an unauthorized charge. Try to find a copy of the special. Either from the forum or Web which corroborates your story. This one is an easy fix.
I have not had good experiences with these guys. They say they have ordered what I ask for, they promise to call, and in the end it is 4 months of wasted time.

Purchased many firearms from Jo-Brook, all over the phone.
I even purchased a just wrong carbine in 45 that had issues and they paid for shipping back, offered me full refund.
