Just installed mine yesterday. Quickpin, as expected is not as tight as the crossbolt. If you go with the quickpin, the back of the mount can shift to left or right about a millimeter, but if you use the crossbolt this mount is rock solid. Overall, I am very happy and this is a very stable mount for your SKS. Next week will be magwell's turn to be installed.
Follow through isn't just a shooting fundamental, it's a life skill.
Hey guys. I have one of these with the quick pin. It didn't fit snug at first but I was able to ever so slightly bend the kwikrail so that it fits tight at the rear mount. Also the one I have has some play where it attaches to the rear sight mount at the front of the rail. There was about 1mm play. (Probably tons of variation with so many different sks makers) I was able to make spacer that fits the gap perfectly and now the whole rail is rock solid. Just FYI if you get one of these they will probably need some attention, not every sks is the same. However, mine now holds zero between cleanings and works perfectly.
Tactical Sks rails are available now as well
Tactical rails available as well, allows use of stripper clips

How do you stop the roll pin from walking out on the front mount?
