    Ordered in the Spring of 2014, Wilson Combat Supergrade 1911s are built by the five best Master Gunsmiths at Wilson Combat, (these ones were built by Jimmy Wilson himself), each at a rate of only a dozen per month or so. 100s of years of collective experience goes into the creation of these masterpiece pistols, creating a product with the tightest of tolerances and most beautiful of finishes, as much art as gun.     I love high end guns and I like 1911's but I don't understand the difference between a $4000 and an $8000 1911 - they all look exactly the same to me. Only the price seems to change. With a rifle, I generally see the difference in upgrades whether it be a graded stock, carbon fiber barrel etc. Where does the money go in these 1911's? Same old same old just more hand finishing? Please, let the House of 1911's enlighten me
