As the name implies uts version 2 hence better and more expensive.
Did you have to repin the mags?Got some +2 base pads from a sponsor for my existing Shadow. Now these mags are awesome.

On the Mags, these are MecGar CZ mags. Original capacity is 10 rounds MGCZ7510B. Got them from a US retailer USD $20 only). These mags are the official mags for shadow with an all metal tube. I have asked wolverine to make sure CZ sends these mags for shadow 2 and not the crappy 1/3 plastic ones.
These mags are the same as 17 round magazine but factory has made an indentation which limits the capacity to 10. Also these mags also come with a +2 base pads which are advertised 19 round magazines. But they all share the same body.
MecGar does not manufacture 10 rounders with +2 base pads as it does not make any sense. Therefore in order to get +2 base pad with the 10 rounder, you can buy the +2 base pads separately. Please note that adding the base pad will not increase the capacity of the magazine. It just makes it easier to handle.
basepad can be acquired through a Canadian online retailer. Please PM for that as this is a dealer forum.

Sorry, been out of the office. I am due back in tomorrow and will check through all the emails (this may take quite some time, I hate going back in after an extended break)
We have a hand full scheduled for the current shipment (so I will get my first "hands on" with them) and I will be taking a sample to IPSC nationals in Halifax at the end of the month.
Next batch is scheduled for production in August (apparently there was a delay due to coating the frames).

No these are factory 10 rounders from Mecgar. Its exactly the same as factort 17 rounders but there is indent on the tube which limits the capacity to 10. The indent is visible in the picture.
