    Just got in some new Marlin 1895 ABL .45-70s , only $849 for these beauties!

    Are the old "issues" with Marlin solved? I know a few years ago no one would touch a "new" Marlin.

    These look great! Just one question...
    Your site says they have cut checkering?
    I thought all these new guns have the pressed checkering

    Yes its pressed. Its not perfect but its actually a lot better than the older JM pressed checkering.

    I have an SBL and no issues with it. As long as its a recent manufacture (QR code next to the serial number) you should be good to go.
    It took a long time but they got their #### together.

    Hmmm i may have to swing by this afternoon and check out one of these babies. I love the blued/grey laminate look.
