    When you keep a record of a transaction what information is stored for a non-restricted firearm?

    Sales invoices are kept for warranty and tax purposes.

    Is that still the only thing kept? Is serial # written down on the invoices?

    How would they grant you warranty if they did not record the serial number?

    You don't need to keep track of serial numbers or person's info when selling NR from one person or another (private sale). Just saying.
