I found an original matching bayonet for my dads .303 No.5 MK1 Jungle Carbine, and it was over $500... If this is the matching bayonet for the C8? I'd dish out. They were never offered with the rifle which is a drag. Why not I'll never know ?Originally Posted by maple leaf

That is because Colt Canada doesn't make the bayonets, they are purchased from Eickhorn in Germany. You can buy the exact same bayonet from them any time you want but it won't have the Maple Leaf mark on it. Ammosource either negotiated that marking with the manufacturer or were able bulk purchase some new, never issued surplus CAF bayonets. Also I am looking for a No 5 bayonet - I hope I can find one for less haha.
