    How can the optic see past the front sight gasblock?

    as in do you see the the front sight tower in the scope when look in it, no you dont see it, .
    that said a small riser or taller rings mag would better for some.

    The one we are keeping we took off the front sight tower. and just useing a red dot sight.
    This gun weight is less then my 870.

    its a typo fixed now, it is a 20GA

    It's no different than mounting a magnified optic on an AR-15. You don't notice the front sight at all. Having said that the optic looks like it is sitting a little low given the stock is in-line just like ARs.

    correct
    with its being a 3x optic , the focal point makes it so you don't see the sight tower, if its was a 0x optic such as a red dot or eotec, you would see the sight tower
