    RPAL required for AR-15 upper

hey guys thought this was the place for this question. so i want an AR-15 but hate all the restricted stuff. so i wanted to get one lower and a couple of uppers to make it worth it. do i need to register the uppers as well or can i just order them without a pal and have them show up to my doorstep or walk out of a store with them. thanks for the help!

On most if not all AR type rifles, the lower is the registered part. The upper is not restricted at all.

Not regulated. Itl depend on the store to actually follow that.

Some still might not sell an upper without a RPAL, but legally you're fine for everything but the lower.

Actually, you don't even need a PAL for the upper.
