Fresh 858 from wolverines last sale

Just added some beechwood and brake

Vz58 and cz858 bonding! (type 81 soon to come)

Non matching beechwood (as expected) will be sanded down and refinished when I got some time

Took me a long time to get around to this, but I have many excuses (just like when I go to the range...)

Anyway... Finally have it set up (almost) the way I want it.

    Changes:
Ambi Safety (with a 45 degree throw instead of the standard 90 degree)
    Ambi Mag Release
    Special Forces Muzzle Brake
    Surplus side folder.
Just put the finishing touches on my hand made cheek rest for the side folder. Even when folded, all controls accessible.

    Still waiting for:
Neit Bolt Release (in the mail as we speak)

Thanks again to the gang at Wolverine. It was worth the 3 year wait for you to get these in.

Tactical Warning: Woodys Venture No Further

Finally finished all my upgrades and had my CZ858 at the range.
Really impressed with the accuracy and great groupings!
Totally trouble-free operation and no issues at all.
Thanks for delivering a really terrific gun to those of us who never had one before.

How do you like that rail? I was thinking of one for a full scope.

Rail seems pretty solid. Not sure if a full scope would have problems with getting hit by ejected casings?
Have heard of issues when the ejection port is covered.
