Now, maybe this is naive to he whole process of commissioning a new firearm, but why has no one got the Turkish manufacturers to produce a Canadian legal PPK, or makarov? The .380 and 9mm blowback pistols are always in high demand.

Better idea, why can't anyone bring in a REX break action revolver pistol???

Would there be any issue with infringing on a patent that new?
Interammo use to sell a makarov with a slightly longer barrel. It does not seem to be on their website anymore.
I'd also be in for a compact .380
I've already had three 12(6) pistols converted over with restricted barrel lengths.
The Turkish people have a hard enough time making shotguns that work/ let alone last; couldnt possibly imagine them making a good commercial semi auto rifle....
They used to have the Norinco PPN... a PPK copy. One was recently on the EE for a pile of dough.
AFAIK Turkish laws are such that they aren't allowed to produce rifles...
Well that's what I'm mostly referring to, I've seen ppn pistols go for crazy money, so imagine if girsan made a PPK copy? If it was like their beretta clones, that'd be a piece worth owning. I was surprised to see the bersa Thunder come to Canada in only a .22. I think canadaammo could scoop up a dropped ball. They have the exposure and customer base I'd imagine to make a thousand unit run viable.
The Turk's are not allowed to produce anything with a rifled barrel, hence why you don't see any rifles from them.
Now if someone was to contract a Philippine manufacturer with a pistol chambered in 7.62x25....then released a carbine that accepted the same mag....then we'd have something.
I still don't know why no Canadian manufacturer has done it.it would be the king of plinkers
It's not that I'm new to this....I'm just an idiot...
