Both those threads are 2 years old. In one, CanAm said they "weren't available", but didn't give details (as in; "not available right now", or "not availble ever"). CanAm didn't respond in the second thread, but North Sylva did, saying that "something was on the way" (or something like that).

I'm hoping for some more recent, up-to-date feedback from CanAm on this (and NS as well). If they see that many people are interested in these pistols and have been for a long time, maybe they can make something happen...

It is an interesting product.
I suspect it is simply a matter of estimated market size vs cost of supplying, rendering the margin undesirable.
