I just sold my M94 Swede with poor barrel - if I had only known!

Anyways, I bought a 9.3X62 barrel for a "project". It arrived in two days I think. Its dimensions are as follows (typical for a #2 1/2 barrel):

    - overall length - 26"
    - muzzle diameter - 0.625"
    - chamber diameter and length - 1.250" and 2.000" The chamber tapers over the next 3" to 0.825" and the barrel then tapers from 0.825" to 0.625" over the next 21".

There are very few off-the-shelf stocks that this barrel will drop into - fitting will be required unless you go with a "Target" or "Varmint" stock.

Barrel Twist 1:13 This is between the typical 12 and 14's I see, but will nicely stabilize a 320 gr bullet.

Does anyone know if the thread pattern on these 9.3x62 barrels will work on a Parker hale safari classic action? I have a this action and would like to build a 9.3 to fit between my 35 whelen and 375hh.

Had a 9.3x62 built up on a DUV 42 K98 receiver (also from Tradex), commercial FN98 bolt and small guts (Tradex), Hogue stock, Elite 3-9x40 gloss (Tradex). These barrels are really nice, this thing shot MOA first time out and is still improving. The chamber area is pretty large, I had it turned down a bit to fit the stock when it was being installed, rest of the barrel fits the channel fine. Still deciding on how to finish.. blue, or cerracote, or maybe just leave it as is.
Good barrels for a build.... considering another one lol.

Quite a fast barrel too, this was the PRVI 285's using Varget, 2gr below max.

I did a build as well on an Interarms receiver using the Boyds "Varmint Thumbhole" stock. Had to do a fair bit of work opening up the barrel channel, but it was just my time spent with dowels and sandpaper.

    Here's a crappy photo:

These are good barrels. I have another M98 Receiver that I'd consider using for another build if only Tradex would bring in say a longish 6.5mm or 7mm fast twist barrel?

was wondering what kind of work to get the barrel working on a ruger 77?
