I still have mine! Great box.

I'm thinking the shipping would be a deal breaker though unless there is a flat rate offer for this item?

Are they lockable as-is? (i.e. without having to rivet a locking latch on them)
Looks like something near the grip handle but I can't tell what it is from the photo.

They have 2 latches to hold it closed and 2 holes for the lock to go through.

Shipping would be high so we were thinking about combining them with orders of a certain $$$ of surplus ordered, that way we would not be shipping an empty box.

What do they sell for normally? We are not sure what to offer.

They are lockable. I still have mine, not a half bad piece of kit. Judging by the bottom picture, I'm pretty sure I know the guy who was issued that box.

Are they water/moisture sealed? I don't see a seal but it might just be the lousy pics.

Nope. These look like the standard (not sure if current) CF issued Barrack Boxes. They are not Pelican type sealed storage boxes. They're great for storing misc stuff around the house but I wouldn't toss one in the back of a pickup truck and expect it to survive being beaten about every day.

I have two in my basement for off season clothes and field kit. I'd trust it for use as luggage on an airline but not forever.

I'd pick up a couple more if they were local to me and therefore didn't have to pay shipping.

    Just my opinions.
