    Thanks firas I'll stick with chain then. I always have paracord in the truck so I could rig up something temporary

    Gong set up survived a few hundred rounds today, blew a shackle early on but it kept the gong hanging. I had mounted it back a bit from the advice on here.... should be good for a while.





    I think the funnest part of the day was when I had the 10/22 dialed in at 100m and unloaded some 25 round mags on it....

    Wooden sawhorses and conveyor belt hangers have served us well at our 3 gun matches for the last couple years. They're a bit chewed up but still good.

    Nice, like I said before I think you'll be surprised at how long the 2x4's will hold up to shrapnel.

    If anyone is in Saskatchewan, conveyor belting is free for clubs, and can be bought very cheaply by individuals.

    another great alternative is old skidoo or ATV belts


    for a portable stand either rebar and wood

    or conduit with connectors
