Do you know anyone in Canada who can thread the barrel of the FNAR? Thanks.

I'm right on the fence for this offer!

Does anyone knows if the recent FNARs still have some issue with their optic rail (badly drilled/misaligned from factory) or if they're still as good accuracy wise (sub moa)?

I'm really interested in buying one but the warranty support/finding a gunsmith with FNAR knowledge seems tough in canada...

I bought one from another retailer and it is excellent. I put a scope on it, sighted it in, and bam, it is a tac driver. Bagged a spring bear with it. I love it. No problems. Bought some extra mags from Wanstalls and they function great. The only con to me is that it is a tad heavy but to me accuracy and reliability are most important and it seems to be both accurate and reliable.

Is this the heavy or standard barrel version?

Not all can or will do it. I called a few and got an answer of "no". I think that perhaps removing the barrel without doing damage may be tricky.

FN needs to up their game and ship more mags. $1499 is unfathomable when additional magazines cost $100. I hope they clue in on this but given that it's FN I doubt they'll listen.

I can't sak or warranty but You shouldn't have any trouble finding a competent gunsmith to work on an FNAR, should it ever actually need smithing. All they are is tactically dressed up Browning BARs so most smiths should be fairly familiar with the the design and components.
