Hey, I bought a 14 inch DA556 from CanadaAmmo about 2 years ago.
I'm trying to find out what the twist rate is on my gun. But I can't find any markings to that effect.
Can anyone help me out here?
Thanx

You could do the cleaning rod and tape trick.
Make a flag with a piece of tape on your cleaning rod and measure how far the rod travels to make one revolution of the flag.
I will check tomorrow. I believe they were 1 in 9, but 5 mins and the tape trick will confirm.
I've been told they were 1:9. IIRC the 20 inch rifles were old-school 1:12.
To be as inaccurate as I read yours is, I am wondering if its not damage to the crown or strikes to the flash hider.
There's no AR twist that shouldn't shoot 55gr acceptably.

"I literally just directly quoted your use of colour revolution techniques..."
All I know is that when I owned one years back I shot 62gr FMJ extremely well so I can at least confirm it's 1:9 guaranteed.
Guns only have two natural enemies; politicians and rust.
