The LMT Modular Ambidextrous Rifle System or MARS for short have arrived.
The MARS lowers include the following features;
Ambidextrous Safety Selector switch
Ambidextrous Magazine release button
Left side magazine release fence well, protects the button from non-intended engagement.
Ambidextrous Bolt Catch / Release
Ability to lock bolt open from right hand position while still holding the grip
Easy to release bolt with right index finger with enhanced mechanism
The MARS lowers utilize a new forging which allows for the above mentioned features in addition to a flared magazine well that assists with locating the magazine during mag changes.
The MARS lowers are available as complete rifle's in the current configurations;

MARS Rifle packages also include a Ambidextrous charge handle as standard providing a fully ambidextrous rifle system.
We have tried a number of AR's that bill themselves as ambi and this has to be the best and easiest to manipulate with either your left or right hand.
