    Great video, but....

...at nine inches, the .308 gives you about 2150fps and the 7.62x39mm will give you:

7.62x39 Velocity at 15' Energy(Ft.-Lbs.) Group Size in Inches
    Smallest Largest Average
    Barnaul 123gr 2015 Avg ES=80/SD=25 1,109 2.65 4.55 3.60
    Brown Bear 123gr 2073 Avg ES=56/SD=17 1,173 2.43 3.90 3.17
    Dubai Brass Cased 124gr 2033 Avg ES=59/SD=18 1,129 3.60 5.35 4.48
    Egyptian Brass Cased 124gr 2043 Avg ES=54/SD=16 1,140 2.03 3.70 2.87
    Winchester White Box 123gr 1904 Avg ES=49/SD=16 990 2.30 4.22 3.26

Basically, way too much cartridge for that barrel, or better put, wrong cartridge for that barrel length.

Like the video. Great to see somebody doing this from a Canadian perspective. One question: What stock adapter is that? Looks really nice on the gun, seems to follow the lines very nicely.
My wife calls me a pessimist. I claim I'm a realist. But I'm probably just an a$$hole with an attitude problem.

Hey what did you torque the barrel bolt to. that has a huge impact on accuracy with the XCR family as well. 250 inch pounds is what the factory now recommends

    Boop. That's a Canadian-made Dlask adapter!

I was smart enough to shoot groups before ripping it apart. Definitely didn't feel like 250 inch pounds coming off there! But I was only at 100 inch pounds going back on I'm afraid.

The Rob arms one puts the stock a higher and allows for the use of rifle length stocks.

+1 This what I would be doing if interested. The Dlask Adapter is far too low.
