as shawn said, oil then wipe dry.
it is metal after all.
oww and i work with metal everyday too...
How are you guys not cleaning after shooting? I take my guns completely apart and clean thoroughly after every use.
Its how we were taught to do it in the army and it stuck with me. Every firearm must be cleaned and lubed at all times when your life depends on it.
Well I checked both my AR's....zero corrosion after letting them sit.
Not corrosive
Left wing, right wing, they belong to the same bird.
A light coat of oil is perfectly fine for the Tavors gas system. Like the others said oil it a bit and then wipe it down.
OP that doesn't look like corrosion from ammo to me. Clean it up and give the gas system a bit of an oil and wipe down. Shoot some more of the Tula through it and see what happens.
