    Because the brass ones are made of brass. Literally:

    Only metal ones are prohibited. Plastic or polymer is ok. Wood, ceramic, rock, carbon fiber or Jello would also be ok. These ones are made with G10, which is some type of fiberglass layers bounds with an epoxy. This is about as solid as an electronic circuit board of the same thickness.

    Legal to own, still falls under "assault with weapon" if used no ?
