Out of 60 rounds fired, I had three ftf's. One from each magazine.

That doesn't sound like a lot, but I also tried a LAR15 ten rounder. Zero issues there. I have a couple of Beowolf mags coming this week to try as well.

I just don't have the confidence to try your mags in competition. The LAR's are perfect except for their length. I have a few ideas how I can extend them, but franken-mags don't really give a me a lot of confidence either. I am really looking forward to the Beowolf mags.

    I will report back.

I use them and they are very good.

I got the chance to do my first long distance shooting with my MV this week. I had no problems hitting plates at both 350 and 500 yards with it. I put a 1-6 Vortex strike eagle on my MV and after sighting it in wasn't sure how it would perform over 100 yards. After this week I don't have any doubt on how I've got my MV setup. I actually got board of hitting the plates after emptying two mags on each of them.

What is this colour scheme, and did ATRS apply the paint?

    thanks.

What type of cerakote is used on the barrels? Is it the high heat dissipating stuff?

The color is burnt bronze and was coated here in house.
We ONLY use the heat cure CeraKote, the air cure does not seem to stand up as well.

    * How much is the burnt bronze coating option?
    * Will the CeraKote retain heat and therefore slow the cooling down of the barrel?
